Welcome to Cherry Trees Pre-School
Cherry Trees Pre-School in Prestwich is committed to creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can grow, learn, and flourish. We provide high-quality childcare for children from 9 months, promoting a positive, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.
Cherry Trees pre-school Curriculum
Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to reflect the knowledge, skills, and experiences we want babies and children to gain during their time with us. When creating a curriculum unique to Cherry Trees, we consider many factors, including what makes our childcare setting special, the confidence and sense of belonging we want each child to develop, and both the individual and group needs within our Prestwich community. From this, we have built a flexible, responsive curriculum that celebrates children’s diverse needs, interests, and stages of development.
Our Team

Our team has extensive experience working with children with a wide range of needs and works closely with families and other professionals to provide the best possible outcomes for every child.

At Cherry Trees Pre school, we are dedicated to supporting all our children and their families, particularly those with special educational needs and English as an additional language. We pride ourselves on building strong relationships with our families and outside agencies involved, such as health visitors, speech and language therapists, social workers, local schools, and our local authority. We support families in accessing funded childcare and welcome all children from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and religions.
Early Years Foudation Framework
Cherry Trees Pre-School follows the Early Years foundation framework, designed to develop a learning structure within a play-based curriculum that encourages creativity and curiosity in babies and young children. Our nursery curriculum is supported by the development matters guidance and is adapted to meet each child's individual needs and learning journey.
Local Outings and Visits
At Cherry Trees Pre-School, we believe that children learn best through experiences and opportunities to explore the world around them. We regularly provide a range of local outings and walks, that complement and enhance the learning that takes place within our setting.
These experiences help children develop confidence, curiosity, social skills, and an understanding of their local community. All outings are carefully planned, risk assessed, and supervised by our experienced staff, with parental consent obtained for every child taking part.
By extending learning beyond the nursery environment, we create enjoyable and memorable experiences that support children's development and wellbeing.
